Congrats on the new boat and welcome! We take the same one then I know how you must feel after writing that cheque. My wife and I picked upward our new pontoon on Sat. 2275 RCW 150 Yamaha, pic's to follow. Really really nice boat! The salesman went through checklist. Couple of items I had result with. Not anything I tin't get over. Just, 8 inch fairly deep scrath in the pontoon, I'm having a hard time with. When scratch was brought up, salesman just kinda shrugged off. Mentioned to him again just before leaving dealership, same reaction. Showtime of all you guys and gals know how much we are spending on our boats. Tin can the scratch be fixed or should I move on.Thanks for your thoughts.
Equally usual, "it depends" on the nature of the impairment merely the dealer should not ignore your concern as that is not normal at delivery. Unfortunately with aluminum it's not so easy to just "rub information technology out" and there is no paint to repair like on a car. Sometimes in the worst of situations they replace the pontoon tube with another. There are cases discussed hither where that has happened nether warranty. Each situation is different though.
Get back to the dealer and escalate information technology if necessary and they'll take care of what to do from there through Bennington. They'll arrive right.

It could be sanded and polished but similar Steve said, but information technology's however there. At 8-9 hundreths of an inch thick, theres not a lot of meat to remove, and fifty-fifty if you could, you run into the deformity (oil canning) afterwards.

Exactly!!As I have gotten older, 62 now, I endeavor to have the listen-set of " is it Really worth getting upset over." Has helped me alot considering my old attitude couldn't have been adept for my health. Pick your battles. Steve
